7 Brew Allergens: Milk, Soy, Nuts and Gluten Guide

The official 7 Brew nutrition guide lists the top 9 allergens for every drink and muffin top. This page turns that list into a plain-language 7 Brew allergens guide: which drinks contain milk, which add soy, the one drink with a tree nut, what has wheat or egg, and which drinks list no allergens at all. We checked it on October 11, 2026.

Key facts

  • Milk is the most common allergen. It is in all Originals, most Classics, chai and matcha lattes, smoothies and shakes.
  • Soy shows up only in some sugar-free versions and in cold foam.
  • Almond (a tree nut) is listed for the Brewchata Chai Latte.
  • Muffin tops list egg, milk, soy and wheat.
  • No allergens are listed for Americanos, plain cold brew, 7 Energy, 7 Fizz Sodas, plain and flavored teas, and most lemonades.

Drinks with no listed allergens

These drinks list none of the top 9 allergens in the official guide:

  • Coffee: Americano (plain, Hazelnut, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Dark Chocolate) and plain Cold Brew.
  • 7 Energy: the Original and Sugar-Free base and every signature flavor.
  • 7 Fizz Sodas: plain and every listed flavor.
  • Teas: black, green, Paris, Earl Grey, cinnamon spice, decaf and the flavored green teas.
  • Lemonades: plain, Fruit Roll-Up, Pink Paradise and Cocoberry, including frozen versions.

Key Lime Pie Lemonade is the exception among lemonades. Its white chocolate adds milk.

Milk and dairy-free options

Milk is listed for every drink made with milk, half-and-half, white chocolate, a smoothie base or a shake base. To make an espresso drink without dairy, ask for one of the three milk alternatives on the official menu: oat, almond or coconut.

A milk swap does not make every drink dairy-free. Sauces such as white chocolate and mocha, and the smoothie and shake bases, can still contain milk. Ask the barista before you order.

Smoothies list milk even though they are fruit drinks, so they are not a safe dairy-free pick.

Soy in sugar-free drinks

Several sugar-free versions list soy as well as milk. The guide lists soy for these drinks: Sugar-Free Blondie Breve, Sugar-Free Blondie Cold Brew, Sugar-Free Brunette Cold Brew, Sugar-Free Brunette Mocha, Sugar-Free Caramel Breve, Sugar-Free Cinnamon Roll Breve, Sugar-Free Cookie Butter Breve, Sugar-Free French Vanilla Cappuccino, Sugar-Free Funnel Cake Macchiato, Sugar-Free Raspberry Truffle Macchiato, Sugar-Free Rocky Road Shake, Sugar-Free Salted Caramel Macchiato, Sugar-Free Smooth 7 Breve, Sugar-Free Sweet & Salty Breve, Sugar-Free White Chocolate Mocha. Cold foam also lists milk and soy. If you avoid soy, check the sugar-free version before you switch to it.

Tree nuts and peanuts

Only one drink lists a tree nut: the Brewchata Chai Latte lists almond. Hazelnut, almond and chocolate macadamia syrups are on the flavor list, but the guide does not list a tree nut for drinks made with hazelnut syrup, such as the Brunette or Cookie Butter. No drink lists peanuts.

If you choose almond milk, you are adding a tree nut to the drink.

Wheat, gluten and egg

Among drinks, the official guide lists no wheat. The muffin tops list wheat, egg, milk and soy, so they are not gluten-free. 7 Brew does not label any item as certified gluten-free, and stands share equipment.

Cross-contact and 7 Brew allergens

7 Brew stands are small and busy. Blenders, steam wands, pitchers and scoops are shared, and toppings are added at the same station. Even a drink with no allergens listed can come into contact with milk, soy, tree nuts or wheat. If you have a serious allergy, tell the barista when you order and ask to see the allergen chart.

Frequently asked questions

Does 7 Brew have dairy-free milk?

Yes. The official menu lists oat, almond and coconut milk as alternatives. Some sauces and bases still contain milk.

Is 7 Brew Energy dairy-free?

The 7 Energy, plain and flavored, lists no allergens in the official guide. Adding cream or cold foam adds milk.

Does the 7 Brew Brunette have nuts?

The guide lists only milk for the Brunette. It uses hazelnut flavoring, so ask your barista if you have a tree nut allergy.

Are 7 Brew smoothies dairy-free?

No. Every smoothie in the guide lists milk.

Which 7 Brew drinks are safe for a nut allergy?

No drink except the Brewchata Chai Latte lists a tree nut, and none list peanuts. Cross-contact is still possible, so always tell the barista about the allergy.
